This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of learning model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning achievement and attitudes toward mathematics students of SDN Caturtunggal 4 Depok Sleman. This study is a pre-experimental study. The study population was all students of SDN Caturtunggal 4 academic year 2011/2012. The samples were fifth grade students of SDN Caturtunggal 4, amounting to 31 students. Data collection techniques used in this study using a pretest and posttest mathematics achievement and attitude while the instrument is used in the form of test and attitude scale. Analysis of the data used in this study is a parametric statistical methods. The data in this study were processed using a computer program SPSS for windows serial 16:00. While the statistical approach used to test the hypothesis is the t test (t-test) with a significance level of 0.05.
