PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran IPS yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan langkah-langkah yaitu: (1) pengumpulan informasi awal, (2) perancangan, (3) pengembangan, (4) penilaian, (5) revisi produk, dan (6) penyebarluasan dan implementasi. Penilaian produk yang dihasilkan dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu penilaian kesahan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Subjek penelitian adalah ahli isi mata pelajaran, ahli media, pemandu mata pelajaran, guru, dan siswa. Sujek uji-coba lapangan adalah murid kelas VI pada tiga SD di Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur Kabupten Bone.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, panduan wawancara, dan tes hasil belajar. Data dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Tanggapan pakar terhadap produk multimedia dalam pembeljaran IPS dan perangkatnya adalah “validâ€; 2) Tanggapan guru terhadap produk multimedia berada pada kategori “sangat baikâ€; dan 3) Respon murid terhadap penggunaan multimedia berada pada kategori “sangat baikâ€; 4) Hasil uji-coba terbatas pada beberapa pokok bahasan dalam pembelajaran adalah “sangat efektif. Dengan demikian, produk multimedia dalam pembelajaran IPS memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditetapkan, yaitu valid, praktis dan efektif untuk disebarluaskan dan diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran.
