MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PKN SISWA KELAS V SD

The preliminary results of the field found the problem on civics lesson. Teachers
dominate and less engaging students in the learning process, so that learning becomes
less meaningful for students. Teachers do not associate learning materials with the
problems that exist in everyday life. Teachers are less motivated students in learning
civics, so that students are less enthusiastic in following the teaching civics. Students
are only listening to the material, so the ability to remember material in less than
optimal learning civics. Students are less active in learning, lack of focus, and easily
bored in the following study. The solution of this problem by applying the model of
Role Playing. The research problems are how to improve the quality of learning civics
through the model of Role Playing in Class V. The purpose of the study describes the
improvement of student learning outcomes in learning civics. The conclusions of this
research is through the implementation of Role Playing models can improve the quality
of teaching civics in Class V. Suggestions for teachers to further develop innovative
learning models such as the model of Role Playing.
