Learning science is essentially in terms of products, processes and attitudes in
terms of development. All three of these dimensions are interrelated. Mastery learning
students of class V SDN Tlogowungu 02 for science subjects are still low proven to
students who are able to master new material 3 of the overall 13 students. The highest
value of 80, 30 and the lowest average value of students only reach a value of 60. The
attitude of tolerance of students is still low, the students who have very tolerant attitudes
tolerant and only 3 students or 23%. Being one interesting thing when learning science
is presented with a model of learning Group Investigation (GI) aided instructional
materials comics that are favored students and charged character, that foster tolerance,
unlock the value dimension IPA and the character values that ultimately creates a
feeling of mutual concern in the hearts of students towards learning science. This study
uses classroom action research design (Classroom-based Action Research),

students consisting of 8 boys and 5 students perempuan.Pada this study, data were
collected through tests, observations, documentation, and using descriptive analysis.
The results showed an increase in the first cycle of students learning completeness
reached 62% and increased tolerance to 69% .In the second cycle is really the maximum
increase in tolerance and student learning outcomes. Mastery learning materials simple
plane experienced by students has reached 92%, as well as the students' tolerance has
reached 92%, so the researchers decided not to continue the research in the next cycle
