Screen Time Sebagai Faktor Risiko Gangguan Emosional Anak Sekolah Dasar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara screen time dan gangguan emosional pada anak sekolah dasar serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor risiko yang berkontribusi terhadap munculnya gejala emosional negatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap siswa, guru, serta orang tua di salah satu sekolah dasar di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa durasi screen time yang berlebihan, terutama di luar kegiatan akademik, berkorelasi dengan munculnya perilaku mudah marah, penurunan konsentrasi, kecemasan, dan kesulitan dalam mengelola emosi. Faktor pendukung lain yang turut memengaruhi kondisi emosional anak meliputi pola asuh, jenis konten yang dikonsumsi, serta kurangnya interaksi sosial langsung. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya pengawasan intensif dari orang tua dan pendidik terhadap penggunaan gawai anak, serta pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan digital yang mendorong keseimbangan antara aktivitas daring dan interaksi sosial nyata pada penelitian mendatang.
