Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Dengan Media Papan Berhitung (PATUNG) Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Dalam Operasi Hitung Bilangan Peserta Didik Kelas II Gugus Melati

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan papan berhitung (PATUNG) mempengaruhi pemikiran kritis peserta didik kelas dua sekolah dasar terkait topik operasi hitung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian, nonequivalent control group. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas 2 gugus melati lebih tepatnya peserta didik di SDN Purwoyoso 03 di Kota Semarang. Hasil uji nilai pretest dan posttest meningkat secara signifikan dengan nilai N-gain pada kriteria ‘Tinggi’ (N-Gain 70,96) dibanding kelas kontrol pada kategori ‘Sedang’ (N-Gain 50,31). Serta adanya perubahan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest yang ditunjukkan pada hasil nilai uji Paired Samples t Test (0,000 < 0,05) dan perbedaan rata-rata posttest pada hasil uji Independent t Test (0,014 < 0,05). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwasanya efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan media PATUNG dikatakan efektif dan berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi operasi hitung bilangan berdasarkan hasil uji penelitian.
