Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Introduction Terhadap Peningkatan Kemandirian Belajar Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Independent learning is important in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to find out the significance of the influence of the Problem Based Introduction learning model on increasing the learning independence of elementary school students. The sample in this study were students of SD Negeri Tingkir Lor 02, totaling 29 students. The instruments used for data collection were in the form of tests to see learning outcomes after being given treatment, a Likert scale questionnaire to see student learning independence and observation sheets to determine success in learning. The research data were processed using SPSS and to determine the effect were analyzed using Mann Whitney. Based on the results of the Mann Whitney differential test, Asymp, sig of 0.584 > 0.050, it means that there was no significant effect of the application of the Problem Based Introduction learning model on increasing independent learning at SD Negeri Tingkir Lor 02. Suggestions for the treatment given need to be added so that students get used to using the model Problem Based Introduction during class learning.
