KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS

Abstrak
           Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN 2 Kajar Kudus pada mata pelajaran Matematika, menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran Matematis siswa masih kurang. Siswa belum dapat menentukan pola dan sifat, melakukan manipulasi Matematika dalam membuat generalisasi, menyusun bukti, dan menjelaskan gagasan serta pernyataan Matematika. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah model Snowball Throwing efektif terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas V SDN 2 Kajar Kudus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam bentuk Pre Eksperimental Design dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SDN 2 Kajar Kudus Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel yang diambil adalah 27 siswa kelas V yang menggunakan teknik Sampling Jenuh. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes menggunakan soal essay untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan penalaran matematis. Berdasarkan analisis data pada hasil pretest rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa adalah 57,7. Pada posttest rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa adalah 77,4. Model Snowball Throwing terbukti efektif apabila thitung>ttabel. Setelah dihitung ternyata diperoleh harga thitung sebesar 10,628 sedangkan harga ttabel untuk responden sebanyak 27 siswa adalah 2,056. thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa model Snowball Throwing efektif terhadap kemampuan penalaran Matematis siswa kelas V SDN 2 Kajar.

Abstract
              The background that drives this research is the low learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 2 Kajar Kudus on Mathematics subjects, indicating that students' mathematical reasoning abilities are still lacking. Students have not been able to determine patterns and traits, do mathematical manipulations in making generalizations, compiling evidence, and explaining mathematical ideas and statements. The problem in this study is whether the Snowball Throwing model is effective against mathematical reasoning abilities of fifth grade students of SDN 2 Kajar Kudus. This type of research is an experiment using a quantitative approach. In the form of Pre Experimental Design with the design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study was all students of SDN 2 Kajar Kudus Academic Year 2018/2019. The samples taken were 27 grade V students who used Saturated Sampling techniques. The data in this study were obtained through tests using essay questions to determine students' ability to do mathematical reasoning. Based on data analysis on the results of the pretest the average value obtained by students is 57.7. At the posttest the average score obtained by students is 77.4. The Snowball Throwing model is proven effective when t0> ttable. After it was calculated, it was found that the price of tcount was 10.628 while the price of ttable for the respondents was 27 students was 2.056. t0>ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So that it can be said that the Snowball Throwing model is effective against mathematical reasoning abilities of fifth grade students of SDN 2 Kajar.
