STUDI KOMPARASI HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS MAHASISWA PADA MATA KULIAH IPS MENGGUNAKAN PEMBELAJARAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) DENGAN MODEL QUANTUM TEACHING AND LEARNIG (QTL)

Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan kemampuan kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi (Higher Order Thinking Skill/HOTS) dan kreativitas mahasiswa pada matakuliah IPS 1 menggunakan Model pembelajaran CTL dan QTL. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan obvervasi. Instrumen di validasi oleh ahli dan validitas empiris menggunakan analisis pearson product moment serta analisis reliabilitas alpha cronbach. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis diskiprif dan analisis inferensial menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa adaperbedaan rerata nilai Higher Order Thinking Skill mahasiswa dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig. = 0,020 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak pada signifikansi 0,05, thitung yang menunjukkan nilai sebesar 2,375 sedangkan ttabel untuk taraf signifikan 5% dengan DB 72 maka nilai kritis ttabel adalah 1,980, dengan demikian ttabel < thitung.Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tidak adaperbedaan rerata nilai Higher Order Thinking Skill mahasiswa dibuktikan dengan Sig. = 0,482 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak pada signifikansi 0,05 hitung yang menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,706 sedangkan t tabel untuk taraf signifikan 5% dengan DB 72 maka nilai kritis t tabel adalah 1,980, dengan demikian ttabel> thitung.

The purpose of this study was to compare high ability of thinking ability (Higher Order Thinking Skill / HOTS) and student creativity in Social Study 1 course using CTL and QTL learning model. The type of this research is experimental research. Technique of collecting data using test and observation. Instruments are validated by experts and empirical validity using pearson product moment analysis and reliability analysis of alpha cronbach. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using t test. The result of this research concludes that there is difference of mean value of Higher Order Thinking Skill of student is proved by Sig value. = 0.020 <0.05 then H0 is rejected at a significance of 0.05, tcount which shows a value of 2.375 while the ttable for 5% significant level with DB 72 then the critical value ttable is 1.980, thus ttable<tcount.
